SAMHSA is accepting applications for up to $50 million in Tribal Opioid Response (TOR) grants. The grants, which will go to tribes and tribal organizations, will fund prevention, treatment, and recovery activities in response to the opioid crisis. The TOR grants will help tribal communities address the opioid crisis by increasing access to culturally appropriate evidence-based treatment, including medication-assisted treatment. The grants will help reduce unmet treatment needs and opioid overdose-related deaths.
SAMHSA is holding a webinar and conference call for prospective TOR applicants on how to register and submit applications on August 2, 2018, 2–3:30 p.m. eastern time.
Applications must be received by August 24, 2018, by 11:59 p.m. eastern time to be considered for review.
