(Larry French / Getty Images) ADVERTISEMENT Lawmakers on the House Appropriations committee are discussing the creation of a continuing resolution that would fund the government at fiscal 2014 levels, Rep. Steny Hoyer, D-Md., said to reporters Sept. 9. Hoyer, the House democratic whip, said chairman Harold Rogers, R-Kent., and ranking member Nita Lowey, D-N.Y. had talks about a continuing resolution in line with budget agreement passed in Dec. 2013. He also said that Congress may pass a continuing resolution before the end of the month in order to cut short the current legislative session. "We will see whether that's the case," Hoyer said.
