The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) held a series of webinars for Continuum of Care (CoC) Collaborative Applicants and providers, Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) recipients and sub-recipients, and Housing Opportunities for Persons With Aids (HOPWA) grantees to educate participants about the requirements of the Equal Access Rule and Gender Identity Rule and how to ensure that projects operate in compliance with these rules. This webinar also provided "LGBT Language 101" training to aid participants in increasing their knowledge and skills in using appropriate, inclusive language with all clients they serve. The first webinar will take place on Monday, March 20, 2017 and the third webinar will take place on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is holding a series of webinars for Continuums of Care (CoCs) and recipients of CoC Program and Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) Program funding to educate participants about the components of the Notice Establishing Additional Requirements for Continuum of Care Centralized or Coordinated Assessment System. This webinar will connect the dots across all of HUD's Coordinated Entry requirements and recommendations, help communities understand the requirements, and what steps a community should consider to evaluate and ensure compliance. Save the Date: 2017 Basically CDBG for Entitlement & State Grantees - Atlanta, GA - May 1 - 4, 2017 The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is pleased to announce our third class in the 2017 Basically CDBG for Entitlement & State Grantees training, which will be located in Atlanta, GA. Dates of the training are listed below. We will begin accepting requests for registration for this training on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Please stay tuned for an email on that date announcing the opening of registration. This training will include a half-day session for State grantees on Day 1 (May 1, 2017). Entitlement grantees do not need to attend Day 1.
