FFY 2015 CPD Formula Grant Allocations

Today HUD CPD announced the FFY 2015 CPD formula grant allocations.  Please see the image showing the allocations for CPD MD formula grantees. The forwarded message from Deputy Assistant Secretary Cliff Taffet includes HUD's suggestions regarding the use of these funds.  Of course, formula grantees remain free to utilize these funds in a manner consistent with their locally-determined goals and priorities and the provisions of the Consolidated Plan final rule and the rules applicable to each formula grant program.  Please note in particular the language in bold ; HUD will be ending the use of the FIFO system beginning with the FFY 2015 formula grant funds.  Additional direction and guidance with regard to this matter and plan submission issues will follow. These funds will be awarded upon HUD's receipt, review, approval, and processing of Annual Action Plans and, where required, new five-year Consolidated Plans.  We anticipate that these documents w

FYSB Accepting Applications for Basic Center and Street Outreach Programs The Family and Youth Services Bureau is now accepting applications for the Basic Center and Street Outreach Programs.   These funding announcements are substantially different from past years. Applicants are strongly encouraged to read the requirements carefully.
