HTF Monthly Report Now Posted

HUD is now posting the Housing Trust Fund (HTF) Deadline Compliance Status Reports. These monthly reports assist grantees and HUD Field Offices in monitoring compliance with the 2-year commitment requirement of the HTF statute and the 5-year expenditure requirement of the HTF regulations. The current report is now posted on the HUD Exchange at the link below. You may also access it from the Housing Trust Fund Page under "HTF Program Reports." New Coordinated Entry Management and Data Guide Available for CoCs

HUD announces the release of a new product to support Continuums of Care (CoCs) in their implementation of coordinated entry (CE) processes. Managing and evaluating a CE process requires careful attention to data elements, client privacy, and system security. This CE guide assists CoCs in navigating the complexities of CE system management. The CE Management and Data Guide expands on previous HUD policy and management guidance and provides a deeper discussion of CE management roles and responsibilities, data privacy and security requirements, CE functionality considerations for HMIS and other data systems, and how to collect and use CE data for evaluation. By looking at how the component parts of a system function together, a CoC can begin to understand whether the pathways and service strategies it has created for participants are effective and efficiently result in crisis resolution. CPD Funding Matrix and Dashboard Reports Posted

The CPD Funding Matrix and Dashboard Reports , as of October 1, 2018, have been posted to HUD Exchange. These reports provide funding information for each city and state that receive CPD program funds, including Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Continuum of Care (CoC), Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG), HOME, Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA), and Housing Trust Fund (HTF). Reports detail the size of each grant received over the past several years, as well as the total amount of funds currently available to be spent on affordable housing and community and economic development activities.
