NCHV Mourns AGIF NVOP President/CEO Carlos Martinez NCHV Mourns Board Member, Carlos Martinez, President/CEO of AGIF NVOP NCHV is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Rita and  Carlos Martinez,  of San Antonio, TX,  at the hands  of COVID-19. One of the things that is most true about nonprofit leadership is that the entire family serves and supports the organization.  Carlos  was the  President and CEO of The American GI Forum’s National Veterans Outreach Program (AGIF NVOP), since 1974. His wife Rita was by his side during his  46 years leading  AGIF NVOP, where programs  grew  into a comprehensive set of services for veterans,  including  shelter,  permanent housing  &  employment assistance  spanning several  cities across the state of Texas.   A veteran of the Unite

Maryland Nonprofit Recovery Initiative (NORI)  Application Deadline  Extended to September 1, 2020 The State of Maryland has extended the application deadline for the second round of the Maryland Nonprofit Recovery Initiative (NORI) and will accept applications until Tuesday, September 1 at 5:00 PM . Eligible nonprofit organizations can receive up to $50,000 in grant assistance for operational support. The second round expanded eligibility to allow nonprofits of any size and with budgets over $5 million to apply for assistance.
