Advocacy Update: Sign-On Letter for Non-Defense Discretionary Funding
January 9, 2015 Sign Organizational Sign-On Letter for Non-Defense Discretionary Funding The Alliance, along with its national partners, is circulating an organizational sign-on letter urging lawmakers to replace sequestration with a balanced approach to deficit reduction that does not disproportionately hurt non-defense discretionary (NDD) programs. This broad array of programs includes homeless assistance and affordable housing programs, as well as community development, job training, public health, national park, and scientific research programs, among others.
