SAMHSA: SSA Benefits Can Help End Veteran Homelessness The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has released a brief explaining the impact that connecting veterans to Social Security Administration (SSA) benefits can have on veteran homelessness. According to the brief, "Connecting Veterans to Social Security Disability Benefits: A Key Component in Ending Veteran Homelessness," providing outreach to veterans about SSA benefits and assisting them with the application process can increase their incomes and housing stability. Improving access to mainstream benefit programs such as SSA is one of the objectives outlined in Opening Doors: Federal Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness . Read the brief

All Collaborative Applicants should now be able to import project applications to the FY 2014 CoC Priority Listing. All project applicants need to ensure that all mandatory fields (those with an asterisk (*)) are completed prior to attempting to submit the project in e-snaps.
