New Grant Opportunity SAMHSA Seeks Applications for Up to $7.8 Million in Grants To Promote Substance Use Disorder Recovery SAMHSA is seeking applications for up to $7.8 million in FY 2017 grants under the Building Communities of Recovery program. This program aims to help build recovery systems for people with substance use disorders in communities throughout the nation. The grants will help mobilize resources for the recovery community to help increase the prevalence and quality of long-term recovery support from substance use disorders and addiction. New Grant Opportunity SAMHSA Is Accepting Applications for Up to $9.9 Million for the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act: State Pilot Grant Program for Treatment for Pregnant and Postpartum Women SAMHSA is accepting applications for the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act: State Pilot Grant Program for Treatment for Pregnant and Postpartum Women totaling up to $9.9 million over the course of 3 years. This program aims to support family-based services for pregnant and postpartum women with a primary diagnosis of a substance use disorder, including opioid disorders. The grant will also help state substance abuse agencies address the continuum of care, including services provided to women in nonresidential-based settings, and promote a coordinated, effective, and efficient state system managed by state substance abuse agencies by encouraging new approaches and models of service delivery.
