CSH Announces a 5-Year, Multimillion Dollar Initiative to Drive Resources to Housing Developers led by People of Color

To date, CSH has allocated more than $60 million in loans and will distribute more resources over the next five years. Dear Jason, We are writing to share news about a new initiative at CSH designed to direct lending products and technical assistance to housing developers led and/or owned by Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC). Called Redesigning Access by Centering Equity (RACE) , the initiative is boosting the capacity of BIPOC developers and increasing supportive housing production in communities most impacted by systemic inequality and structural racism. The initiative is currently focused on New York, Washington DC Metro, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area and Georgia. It is our hope to expand to other markets in the coming years.
