TD Charitable Foundation Invites Applications for 2017 Housing for Everyone Grants

DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 1, 2017 In 2017, the program will support projects/programs that fall within the theme of Affordable Housing for Single Parent Families. Applications must highlight the ways in which funding will create new or preserve existing units of safe, clean, physically accessible affordable rental housing for families headed by a single individual (parent, grandparent, or guardian). Applications need to include details on access to medical and health services; proximity to schools, employment opportunities, day care centers, shopping, community and transportation services; and adaptability to the changing needs of today's modern families. The  TD Charitable Foundation , the charitable giving arm of  TD Bank N.A. , is accepting applications for its annual Housing for Everyone grant competition. Mediware Update 2017 CoC Program Competition (NOFA) Update  HUD has officially released the notification about the 2017 CoC Program Competition (NOFA) application which is due: Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 8:00 PM EDT Please note that HUD does not give vendors access to review the NOFA before it is released to communities. We will be reviewing the application as soon as it is posted to determine what changes, if any, are needed for the ART Gallery reports that are used for the NOFA application. We will send out another announcement late next week with information about which reports we recommend for use with the NOFA applications and about their availability. FY 2017 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program Competition: e-snaps is Now Available

The FY 2017 Continuum of Care (CoC) Consolidated Application (CoC Application and CoC Priority Listing) and project applications are now available in e-snaps at www.hud.gov/esnaps . Collaborative Applicants and project applicants can now access the applications to review, update, and enter information that is required for the application process through the FY 2017 CoC Program Competition NOFA. Submission Deadline: Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 8:00 PM Eastern Time Project Applicants Returning project applicants can choose to import the FY 2016 renewal project application responses; however, this must be requested during your registration of the Renewal Funding Opportunity in e-snaps and is only available if you submitted a renewal project application in the FY 2016 CoC Program Competition (last year). SAMHSA Releases Report on Adolescent Inhalant Use In 2015, approximately 684,000 adolescents ages 12 to 17 used inhalants in the past year, and adolescents were more likely than adults to have used inhalants in the past year to get high. In this issue of The CBHSQ Report , titled "Understanding Adolescent Inhalant Use," 2015 National Survey on Drug Use and Health data are used to explore inhalant use in the United States among those aged 12 or older.
