MEMORIAL SERVICE: Stu Hancock

Image
Dear friends, I know many of you received the sad news last week that our Prologue family lost one of its best. Stu Hancock passed away on Thursday, 2/9 following an illness. Stu had great passion for his work as our Homeless Outreach Director. Since 2000 Stu led the way in providing services to individuals and families that were homeless in Baltimore County. He was an outspoken advocate, a mentor to staff and recognized as a community leader. He had a heart of gold and connected easily with the homeless population. He shared his philosophy, “where the rubber meets the road,” as the mantra that guides the daily work of Prologue’s Homeless Outreach Team as they journey throughout the county meeting people in need of services wherever they are – in campsites, shelters and on the streets. We mourn his loss and celebrate his memory because he gave so much to all of us. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Stu’s life.  His wife, Beverly Marlowe Hancock , welcomes
