FY 2013 and FY 2014 CoC Program Competition Application: Deadline Reminder As of today, January 29, 2014, there are 6 days remaining until the end of the FY 2013 CoC Program Competition. Applications must be submitted in e-snaps by 7:59:59 PM ET February 3, 2014. Applications must be completed and submitted in e-snaps no later than February 3, 2014, 7:59:59 p.m., Eastern Time . Please allow ample time to complete your CoC Consolidated Application and DO NOT wait until the last minute to submit. HUD strongly recommends that CoCs submit their applications at least 24-48 hours before the deadline. Alliance Releases Community Snapshot of Memphis-Shelby County The Alliance has released a Community Snapshot of Memphis-Shelby County, Tennessee that provides an overview of the community's progress on ending homelessness. From 2012 to 2013, overall homelessness in Memphis-Shelby County decreased by 12.5 percent and chronic homelessness among individuals decreased by 17 percent. Changes in ESG Recipient Funding Status In order to aid in communities’ planning processes, HUD is announcing the Changes in Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) Recipient Funding Status to identify the ESG recipients that will, and will not, receive ESG funds in FY 2014 and FY 2015. Regular Registration Ends, Late Registration Begins The regular registration rate for the Alliance's 2014 National Conference on Ending Family and Youth Homelessness expired on Monday, January 20, but you can still register for the conference at the late registration rate of $625 until 3 p.m. ET on Friday, February 7. The conference will take place at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans this February 18 to 19. Should you need to cancel your registration, you must do so in writing by Friday, February 14. The Alliance will deduct a $100 processing fee and a $25 cancellation fee from your refund. After February 14, the Alliance will no longer grant refunds. ...
