"Promoting Employment for Homeless Veterans" Webinar Series Now Available! Webinar recordings available from DOL, NVTI series The Department of Labor (DOL) and National Veterans Training Institute (NVTI) have developed a series of webinars supporting employment for homeless veterans. This webinar series is supported by the NCHV TA Center. Designed as an education tool for American Job Center Staff, the webinars are a great free resource for service providers. In addition to providing training on employment tools and interventions for new staff members and partner agencies, the webinars can provide a foundation to strengthen your relationship with local AJC staff. Registration Information will be sent shortly; however the format is a LIVE Meeting on Tuesday May 19, 2015 from 2-4pm so no need to travel! The session includes a brief tutorial on accessing resources on the HUD Exchange followed by five brief (20 minutes) topic-specific presentations and answers to attendee questions about the CoC Program. Attendees will be able to submit questions before and/or during the session.   This replaces the Start-Up Conference held in past years. Ann M. DOL-VETS Releases Amendment to SGA for HVRP Grants $4 million available for Urban and Non-Urban grants, applications due May 12 The Department of Labor has announced that Sections II.C and VI.L.2 of the Solicitation for Grant Applications (SGA-15-01) for the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP) have been amended.
