Upcoming Webinar: Investing in Youth and the Community - Summer Youth Employment Programs and Partnerships - May 7, 2014 - 2pm EDT

Summer is nearing, and HUD is working with the Departments of Labor and Health and Human Services to promote summer youth employment opportunities and partnerships. The main goal is to enable working age youth to access a summer job and employment readiness opportunities – particularly those living in low income households.
Please see a letter from the Departments and the below webinar opportunity. We hope that you will encourage staff and your local service providers to participate and act on helping a young person this summer. Offering a summer job to a young person is a small investment that will have a huge impact on a young person's life.
