Grant-Based Accounting for HOPWA Grantees Webinar - August 6, 2015 - 2:00 PM EDT


This webinar to be held on August 6, 2015, is designed for HOPWA grantees as an introduction to Grant-Based Accounting principles and practices.
Participants will learn:
  • The reason for the change to Grant-Based Accounting for FY 2015 and beyond
     
  • How the “Division of Funding Sources” will operate in IDIS including setting up projects, activities, and funding of activities
     
  • The mechanics of revising vouchers
     
  • The impact of expenditure deadlines
     
  • The impact on the Action Plan and CAPER
     
  • Where to find updated GBA information on the HUD Exchange
     
  • How to obtain answers to additional questions (via the IDIS AAQ desk)

Who Should Attend?

Registration will be limited to one staff member per grantee only in order to accommodate as many grantee organizations as possible.
The Grant-Based Accounting for HOPWA Grantees Webinar is relevant to HOPWA grantees and IDIS users. This webinar is limited to 1,500 participants and registration for this training will close either once maximum capacity has been reached or one hour prior to the webinar start time – whichever occurs first.

Registering for the Grant-Based Accounting for HOPWA Grantees Webinar

Access the registration page below and then select Register Now on the right side of the page.
If you have not yet registered for a HUD Exchange Learn account:
  1. Select Create an Account
  2. Enter your information on Steps 1 and 2 of the registration page.
  3. Select Register
  4. You will be brought directly to the course detail page in HUD Exchange Learn and an email containing your username will be sent to you. Keep this for future use
  5. Select the checkbox next to the class name and location and then select Enroll in this Class
If you have already registered for an HUD Exchange Learn account:
  1. Enter your Username and Password; select Log in
  2. If prompted to fill out additional information, please do so, and select Update
  3. You will be brought directly to the course detail page in HUD Exchange Learn
  4. Select the checkbox next to the class name and location and then select Enroll in this Class
If you are unsure if you have an HUD Exchange Learn account:
  • Go to the HUD Exchange Login page, and enter your email address into the field: Forget Username or Password?
  • If a username for that email address already exists, you will receive an email with a temporary password that you can use to follow the steps above. If not, you’ll receive an error message.
