Information Request from Interagency Council on Homelessness Youth Workgroup

As you may know, Maryland has seen a recent increase in homeless youth who are not in the physical custody of a parent or guardian and who are between the ages of 14 and 25. To address this growing concern, the Interagency Council on Homelessness has created the Housing and Supportive Services for Young Adults Workgroup which works to develop sound and effective policy recommendations that address the unique needs of youth experiencing homelessness.

We are asking that you take a few minutes to respond to a survey by Friday, May 20, 2016. The survey results will help the workgroup understand how your Continuum of Care organization delivers services to youth and young adults experiencing homelessness.

The survey results will be used to make policy recommendations by the Interagency Council on Homelessness (ICH) to the Joint Legislative Committee on Ending Homelessness to enhance service delivery and collaboration across systems which serve youth and young adults. Your responses are very important to the work of the Interagency Council on Homelessness - Housing and Services for Young Adults Workgroup.

Contact Christina Drushel Williams, christina.drushel@maryland.gov, if you have any questions

Thank you for taking the time to respond to the survey.
