Upcoming: USICH Webinar on Counting Youth Experiencing Homelessness - Monday, November 21, 2016 - 2:00 PM EDT

Federal partners have agreed to establish 2017 as the baseline year for measuring progress in ending youth homelessness in the context of the Point-in-Time (PIT) count. This means that as we measure national and local progress on ending youth homelessness with the PIT count, 2017 will be used as the initial comparison year.
To help communities prepare for the PIT count, the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) is hosting a webinar on promising practices for counting youth including considerations from federal agencies and recently published resources, early lessons learned from the national Voices of Youth Count initiative led by Chapin Hall, highlights from a local youth count, and recommendations on integrating efforts to count youth as part of the broader PIT count. This webinar will be on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 2:00 PM EDT.
