2018 NCHV Annual Conference Call for Abstracts, NCHV Seeks Input for VA

2018 NCHV Annual Conference - Save the Date, Call for Abstracts
May 30 - June 1 in Washington, D.C.
The 2018 NCHV Annual Conference will take place May 30 through June 1 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C. The theme for this year's Conference is "Progress. Practice. Perseverance."
Our collective progress in ending homelessness among veterans in each of our communities across the United States has been remarkable over the past eight years. This year, as we convene together in our nation's capital, we will focus on continuing that progress. To do so, we must continue to put proven strategies and policies into practice. And, we must also persevere to ensure that ending veteran homelessness remains the urgent priority that it has been over these past years.
Mark your calendars for May 30 - June 1, and stay tuned for more details including registration info in the coming weeks.
If you are interested in being a presenter at the 2018 NCHV Annual Conference, we are now accepting session abstracts. All submissions must be received by March 2. Click here to fill out an abstract submission form

NCHV Seeks Your Input for VA Homeless Programs
Make your voice heard in shaping Department's future efforts for homeless veterans
Following months of back-and-forth over the VA’s funding of the HUD-VASH program, VA Secretary David Shulkin has committed to soliciting stakeholder feedback over the future of the VA’s homeless programs. NCHV is taking this opportunity to present the Secretary with a wide-ranging policy document that will include a comprehensive set of recommendations from service providers. As part of this effort, we are seeking member input through an online survey. Participation is greatly appreciated, and will directly shape our recommendation document – and hopefully, VA’s path forward.
Click here to complete the brief survey. The deadline for responses is COB Feb. 23, don't miss your chance to shape the conversation!
