Meet Our New Policy Director, Susan Pourciau!





Susan hails from Tallahassee, where she lead a coalition on homelessness in the Big Bend region of Florida.
Susan's extensive work in the homelessness sector also includes her most recent post as chief financial officer and director of homelessness training and technical assistance for the Florida Housing Coalition 




Council Discusses Employment and Welcomes New Vice-Chair for Fall Meeting   





  
In our latest meeting, we discussed strategies to improve access to employment for people experiencing homelessness. 


Newly appointed Department of the Education Assistant Secretary for Elementary and Secondary Education, Frank Brogan, also joins the Council as Vice-Chair. Read more here.

NASH Releases Housing Safety Planning Toolkit for Survivors of Domestic and Sexual Violence  



The National Alliance for Safe Housing has released a toolkit for homelessness/housing providers who work with victims of domestic and sexual violence. 
The Toolkit's focus on safety planning will help providers better link to victims' services and ensure that survivors receive the support needed.
