If your agency is looking for new funding opportunities, consider what Ending Community Homelessness Coalition (ECHO) achieved. The Austin, TX agency
won a $5.2 million grant from the Dept. of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) to address youth homelessness.
The grant required establishing unique goals and metrics, collecting data that was quite different from most program requirements, and preparing partners to run the new programs under a different set of standards.
