CDBG-DR Procurement Requirements Webinar Translated into Spanish
Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) grantees and subrecipients procuring goods and services with their grant funds must ensure that they are following all program procurement statutory and regulatory requirements. The urgency in post-disaster recoveries often leads state and local officials to work to quickly restore infrastructure, public services, and help private companies and citizens make repairs. However, grantees and subrecipients that do not follow all CDBG program requirements may be forced to repay Federal funds.
This webinar provides guidance on how to comply with these requirements while also moving as quickly as possible to recover from a disaster. It was recently translated to Spanish; there are no new updates to the content of the webinar.

CDBG and CDBG-DR (States only) Updates and Clarifications to Procurement Requirements Webinar

This webinar was originally held on April 27, 2017 and focused on procurement requirements for the CDBG State and Disaster Recovery programs. It covered the latest guidance under the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Uniform Guidance as provided in 2 CFR Part 200.
While not translated into Spanish, another helpful resource is Buying Right CDBG-DR and Procurement: A Guide to Recovery.
This Toolkit provides guidance to CDBG-DR grantees and subrecipients on how to comply with procurement requirements. In addition to a comprehensive Guide, the Toolkit includes a variety of helpful example/sample documents on topics such as competitive bids, contract reporting, and cost analysis.
