Each year HUD requires Continuums of Care (CoCs) to submit several datasets. In the past, the data collection periods were relatively similar. However, based on recent changes and last year’s experience with the Longitudinal System Analysis (LSA) data submission process, we are changing the timeline for submitting data over the next year.
We appreciate the feedback about the challenges last year and we are working to make this year’s data submission easier. We have implemented several improvements to reduce the challenges with submitting the LSA data, including engaging earlier with Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) software providers and creating a longer time frame for LSA submissions.

- Additional supports to vendors
- Refinements to how you resolve errors and warnings in the system
- Improved support to CoCs during data cleaning
