A new proposal from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development seeks to make it more difficult for those experiencing housing discrimination to prove that they are being discriminated against, particularly on the basis of race. These policies have negative effects not only on communities of color, but also for people with disabilities, and families with children.
