The Fuel Fund of Maryland will be participating in the #GivingTuesday campaign this December 3rd, 2019. This global day of giving invites millions of individuals like you to contribute to organizations of their choice. By giving back to our communities, we can truly make a difference in many lives.
With your support in FY19, the Fuel Fund provided financial assistance to 4,731 households and 18,044 adults, children, seniors, veterans, disabled adults and critically ill patients.
Last year's #GivingTuesday campaign raised $19,762.30 and allowed us to connect 197 households during a utility crisis. Because of you, our neighbors were not powerless during the cold, winter months.
Ms. Williams, a Fuel Fund of Maryland donor, left us this note with her contribution last winter:
"I needed help years ago when I could not afford to pay my bill and was so thankful when I received help."
Our goal for #GivingTuesday is $25,000 to provide financial assistance to 250 households.
