Fisher House serves as home away from home for Veterans, military families

A Fisher House is "a home away from home" for families of patients receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers. The homes are normally located within walking distance of the treatment facility or have transportation available. These homes offer free, temporary lodging to military and Veterans' families, allowing them to be close to their loved one during a medical crisis. It also allows them to focus on what's important—the healing process. Discuss on RallyPoint: Have you used a Fisher House?
