In the time before and since the Notice’s release, CoCs across the country have been implementing CE systems to meet their communities’ needs. In many cases, this has required significant shifts in how projects and CoCs conduct daily business.
To support these ongoing implementation efforts, HUD is launching a new series of web-based Coordinated Entry Dialogues. As their name suggests, these sessions will not be presentations or traditional webinars, but are intended to be conversations between communities and HUD. HUD hopes that CoCs will take advantage of this forum to seek and provide real-time feedback on best practices, lessons learned, and current challenges – both with each other and HUD.
There are currently four CE Dialogues scheduled throughout Spring 2020. Each Dialogue will have two sessions focused on the same topic area. CoCs interested in participating should plan to attend only one session per Dialogue; the content in both sessions will be comparable. Dialogue sessions will be capped at 500 participants each to allow for verbal conversation.
Dialogue #1: Funding Coordinated Entry
Attendees should come ready to share information about their CE system and the challenges they have faced around CE funding and CE activities. The two sessions will cover the same information, CoCs are encouraged to only register for one.

Dialogue #2 - 4: Topics To Be Determined
HUD will develop the topics of future CE Dialogues based on their scan of issues and CoCs’ input. Topics for each of the sessions will be announced closer to their dates.
