HOPWA IDIS Naming Convention Tool Updated for CARES Act Grants
The Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) Integrated Disbursement and Information System (IDIS) Naming Convention Tool has been updated to include a further breakout of facility-based housing options under HOPWA and includes the updated naming convention for IDIS projects and activities used to draw CARES Act funds.

The HOPWA IDIS Naming Convention Tool is a Microsoft Excel-based tool designed to support HOPWA grantees in setting up the HOPWA IDIS Projects and Activities according to the naming conventions outlined in the Using IDIS Online for the HOPWA Program manual, released in March 2016 and the HOPWA IDIS Set-Up and Draw Instructions for CARES Act Grants, released in June 2020. Within the tool, grantees are asked to provide basic information about the service providers and activities under the grant and the tool generates the corresponding Project and Activity names for use within IDIS.

Please submit all questions related to this tool to the Ask A Question (AAQ) portal. In Step 2 of the question submission process, select “HOPWA: Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS” from the “My question is related to” drop down list and write “HOPWA IDIS Naming Convention Tool ” in the subject line.
