HOPWA IDIS Set-Up and Draw Instructions for CARES Act Grants
HUD recently released instructions to Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) formula and competitive grantees on Integrated Disbursement and Information System (IDIS) set up and draws for funding authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), Public Law 116-136. The grant funds provided under the CARES Act are to be used by HOPWA grantees and project sponsors to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). These instructions also discuss considerations for projects sponsor agreements, using older HOPWA funds to respond to COVID-19 and preliminary reporting information as requirements are finalized.

Any subsequent HOPWA updates to IDIS information for CARES Act will also be linked on the HOPWA Guidance for COVID-19 page on the HUD Exchange. For additional instructions on using IDIS, view Using IDIS Online for the HOPWA Program.
