The recent events, shining the light on the unfair treatment of people of color has impacted communities across our country. It has reveal the harsh disparities faced by many of the communities we serve.

As Community Action Network in MD, DC and DE we will not stand by as this fight for equality pursues. As our code of ethic states, we believe in the dignity of all people. MCAP is calling on our members and our broader professional community to condemn racism and take an active role in eliminating the racial biases that account for a myriad of social, economic, and health disparities, and most importantly, result in the loss of human lives – Black and Brown lives.
