The City of Boston is looking to fill two open temporary HMIS positions. The City of Boston's Department of Neighborhood Development is the CoC and HMIS Lead for the Boston CoC and all staff are still currently working from home so this will be a fully remote opportunity. Temporary Migration Specialist
General Description
Do you want to contribute towards the City's efforts to end homelessness for all Bostonians? Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Supportive Housing and guidance of the HMIS Data analyst, the Migration Specialist will assist the HMIS Team in the Supportive Housing Division to complete its migrations from Social Solutions' Efforts to Outcomes to Bitfocus's Clarity. This position will be joining in the final stage of the migration process.
The incumbent will assist with collecting configuration information and verifying configuration design in the migration site (mig-site) and final site. Collection and verification will include information from service providers and the HMIS Team at system, agency, user, program, services, and funding levels.
This migration and its accuracy and usability of the configuration are critical for the Supportive Housing Division's mission of Ending Homelessness in the City of Boston and to assist with achievement of Divisional and City strategic goals.

Temporary HMIS Generalist
General Description
Do you want to contribute towards the City's efforts to end homelessness for all Bostonians? Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Supportive Housing will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing policies, procedures, standards and systems to ensure that DND is in compliance with federal, state and local regulations governing the Homeless Information Management System (HMIS). The incumbent will be responsible to assist with the coordination of internal and external programs and funding to ensure appropriate and efficient allocation of resources and to assist with achievement of Divisional and City strategic goals.
