The Alliance comprises 41 executives of community development financial institution loan funds representing all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Black-led CDFIs have long received a disproportionately smaller amount of resources than other CDFIs, something the industry has been trying to rectify. The new organization intends to support both Black communities and the leaders of CDFIs that serve those communities. | | | | Carol R. Naughton will serve as the new chief executive officer of Purpose Built Communities. She has worked at Purpose Built Communities since its founding in 2009, where she served as senior vice president and then president. Naughton has served as interim CEO since summer of 2020 following the departure of the previous CEO, David Edwards. | | | | Sharon Parrott will be the next president of Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP). She currently serves as CBPP’s senior vice president for federal policy and program development and served in the Obama administration at the Office of Management and Budget and the Department of Health and Human Services. Parrott will succeed Robert Greenstein, who established the center in 1981 and has served as its chief executive ever since, on Jan. 1, 2021. | | | | Brian Rahmer has left his position as the vice president for health and housing at Enterprise Community Partners and taken a position as a senior fellow at Well-Being and Equity in the World. Randy Shaw: Thanks Annie Howard for such a comprehensive story. Chicago is the nation’s largest city without “just cause” eviction protections. This should not continue in a state run by Democrats.
