(NHSDC) Accepting virtual session proposals for the NHSDC Spring Conference!

Call for Sessions is OPEN for
NHSDC Spring 2021 Virtual Conference

We are excited to announce that the call for sessions is open for NHSDC's Spring 2021 Virtual Conference. The Spring 2021 Virtual Conference will take place over three weeks between April 12-30 in partnership with HUD. We are excited to see what you've all been up to during this unprecedented year! Here's some important info to know:

Due date: Session proposals are due by Thursday, February 18th by 5pm local time.

Conference theme: "A Year of Crisis - Using Human Services Data to Recover from the Pandemic." We are looking for quality presentations that tell your community's story of how you used homeless and other human services data (public health, hospitals, benefits, justice data and beyond) to help keep people experiencing homelessness safe and adapted service delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic that has ravaged this country and the world since early 2020. Specific topic areas we are interested in are: CARES funding; vaccine distribution; Coordinated Entry process improvement and/or dynamic prioritization; housing strategies during/following the pandemic; and data across systems for equity.

Data disaggregation and commitment to diversity: NHSDC has issued a new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) statement that underscores our commitment to using data to impact policy, improve human services and drive systems change. We are now asking that all presentations, where possible, include data that has been disaggregated by race. Please consider this when brainstorming ideas for session proposals.
