Continuum of Care Awards Announced

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has announced Continuum of Care (CoC) Competition Awards for FY 2021, totaling $2.645 billion for homelessness programs across the U.S. and its territories. Congratulations to the awardees.

New Emergency Housing Voucher Resource Available for PHAs

As CoCs continue to partner with Public Housing Authorities (PHAs) to utilize new Emergency Housing Vouchers (EHVs) for people experiencing homelessness, they are encouraged to share HUD's new "Emergency Housing Vouchers: A How-To Guide for Public Housing Agencies.

This document is designed to help PHAs understand and implement EHVs within their systems, and strengthen CoC collaborations established during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please share with your local PHA to ensure that EHVs continue to be distributed in an efficient and equitable manner.

Submit Your 2022 Point-in-Time Count Data

HUD has opened its Homelessness Data Exchange (HDX) portal for CoCs to submit their 2022 Housing Inventory Count (HIC) and Point-in-Time (PIT) count data.

CoCs must submit their data on the portal by Friday, April 29, 2022, at 8:00 PM EDT.
